Mefisto Bar

Maybe Denmark's smallest Bar - full of good atmosphere and a splash of decadence. The bar is wrapped in Parisian velvet, and the walls are decorated by Danish artist Søren Behncke. Visit the bar before or after your visit at Mefisto Restaurant & Gårdhave with which the bar shares it's entrance - or just for a cosy night out.

Snacks & Hygge

Hygge, atmosphere and drinks are the main characteristics of Bar 18 where you can enjoy our many wines, cocktails from award-winning Tchin-Tchin, a cold beer or great coffee. And of course, we also have a delicious snack menu for the small hunger.

Mefisto Restaurant & Courtyard

We bid you welcome all day long in an informal environment with great food or to spend some time to enjoy the atmosphere in The Latin Quarters. If it is in the restaurant with a view of the cobblestones in Volden or in the quiet courtyard with its view of the spire of Aarhus Cathedral.

Mefisto Pizza & Bar

Our bar has atmosphere, happy days and great music.

We are spezialised in Beer from Jutland and we offer a collection within more than 50 diffrent beers from the best Microbrews in Jutland. See our Beer Menu here.

Our dough is cold fermented for at least 48 hours.

Our toppings are inspired by the world.

Pizza & Bar just as we like it.

Pizza & Bar resides in the building where Mefisto opened in 1995 with a café inspired by the vibe in Berlin. We took over in 2002, and today No. 28 is our idea of a quirky Pizza & Bar with pizza until late, drinks and great atmosphere.

Beer Menu

We always have more than 40 different beers from the best microbrews in Jutland. Our beers comes from Bad Seed (Gudumholm), Observatoriet (Skanderborg), Fanø Bryghus, Hancock (Skive), Stepping Stone Brewing (Hørning), Humleland (Aarhus), Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, Skuldborg Bryghus og Thisted Bryghus.

We call it Mefisto Gourmand. Handmade, delicious food in a setting of your own choice.

We offer different menus for 4 persons and more, and your can order until noon (12.00) the day before. Please remember to let us know if you wat to pick up or delivery.
